Demene is an amazing individual with a big heart who shows such compassion for helping others, whether youth or adults in a simple, non-confrontational way. UResteem and Demene’s recently published journal offers great prompts to encourage and motivate others to live a better life. Demene was readily available to me when I asked if she was willing to talk with a friend of mine who is going through a tough time, doubting himself at this point in his life. She keeps in touch with him through texts and phone calls, and hopefully will meet up with him in-person. My friend has already given me feedback on what a wonderful person Demene is.
